At 6:00 am, we begin an exciting 2-hour trail walk through the dense jungle, where we explore the white sand forest and admire the vibrant local birdlife and flora.

Then, we ascend to the imposing Cerro de las Guacamayas, a tepuy that rewards us with spectacular views of the vast Vaupés Amazon.

Upon returning, we cooled off in the reddish waters of Caño Sangre, whose color is due to the tannins released by the vegetation, thus completing a day of adventure and unforgettable discoveries.
